19 Feb Greenpoint Loft Wedding: Mitch and Sarah’s Wedding in Brooklyn, New York

I truly didn’t want the amazing ceremony and reception of Mitch and Sarah to ever end — and that’s something I don’t say lightly. The day I spent with them was magical, and their wedding is one of my all-time favorites.
We started the day at The Box House Hotel in Brooklyn, which beyond being a pretty place to get ready, provided the couple with a vintage 1970’s taxi to drive them to their ceremony. The natty car turned a lot of head on the way to the ceremony and reception, held at one of Brooklyn’s hidden gems, The Greenpoint Loft.
Mitch & Sarah’s ceremony was simple and beautiful, and followed by endless activities — competive games of bean bag toss, an awesome live band, and some the best chicken you’ve ever tasted, catered by longtime Brooklynite favorites, Pies and Thighs. Toward the end of the night, new groom Mitch took the stage himself with his guitar to play his bride Sarah a few songs he had written for their special day. The songs covered how they met and what he loved about her, and were filled with witty lyrics that kept all their guests laughing nonstop.
The love between these two was palpable, and I absolutely loved being a part of something so beautiful.
